Remote consideration

The remotes included with Roku are an absolute disgrace. The purpose of owning a Roku is to avoid using the TV remotes. However, how can you make remotes with no "power" button and no volume control? I don't want to use two remotes to control my viewing. I assume you are trying yo make more profit by making us buy the remote separately.
