Besides not accepting any of Roku's terms, consider using Pi-Hole, which is free software that is installed on a cheap single board computer (like a Raspberry Pi) and monitors/blocks all types of adware from within your home network. I use it to block Roku from trying to "phone home", which is attempts to do frequently to report on what I watch.
