Channel request: ARD / ARD Mediathek

Please add ARD / ARD Mediathek, the German free TV channel to the US store. It is available in the DE channel store. I know that lots of German speaking expats own AppleTVs because the channel is available unrestricted there.

Why can my Mom get this channel on her new Smart TV and I can’t get it with my old smart TV and Roku?
