Automatically open a channel?

Can someone write a Roku app that opens another specific Roku app (i.e. Youtube TV) and passes it the channel one wants to start with, or even the channel lineup?

That may be better accomplished via a system feature. Perhaps request such a feature at the Suggest A Feature page.

I too would be very happy if they added such a feature. Because 99% of the time I just watch Youtube TV. so it was very convenient and cool.
