@Marcus69, I've always felt the power saving option was more trouble than it's worth (it doesn't save that much power), but the button on the remote is solely for the TV. Roku devices don't turn off. The only one that ever did was the no longer supported Roku 4. When you're finished streaming, press the Home button to return the Roku to its Home Screen and power off the TV.
