Roku Streaming Stick+ | HD/4K/HDR Garbled Audio

We have a Toshiba TV and just purchased the Roku Streaming 2020 HD/4K stick.   The first 3 days it worked great (it replaced a Roku Express) but then today, the audio suddenly became garbled on any app.  Hulu, Prime Video, Peacock, Pluto.   It garbled on our sound bar so we turned off the sound bar.  However, on the TV Speakers it was also garbled.   The only way we could solve the problem was to restart the Roku from the home settings menu.   It has happened 3 times today.  Is there a more permanent fix?  It will get old restarting the app multiple times each day.

Thanks for the post.

Have you tried connecting your Roku device to another HDMI port on your TV to see if you are experiencing the same issue?

For troubleshooting purposes, try connecting the Roku device to another TV and let us know if you are see the same audio playback issue.

Please keep us posted what you find out.

Thanks for the info.   The issue has not happened again but next time it does, we will try this.
