Before we proceed, have you tried the suggestions I posted above? I would recommend starting there and see if that will make a difference.

Hi,
I'm having the same issue with my Roku Express. There's a white light, but nothing displays on a screen. I've tried it on two different tv's and different ports on each, tested two different HDMI cords, and tried different power outlets. I also tried to find the device using the Roku app on my phone to see if I could control it from there, but the device is not appearing on the network. Finally, I've tried factory resetting it using the pin button on the back multiple times.
Is there a way to fix this device other than the steps above? Or is this a known flaw with the Express hardware?

I wouldn't say it's a known flaw, but electronic devices die and it sounds like yours is dead. If you've tried a factory reset by holding in the reset button for no less than 30 seconds with the power connected then you should pursue a warranty return if it's less than a year old.

Hello,
I have a similar problem with ROKU express, it was running fine and suddenly there is no VIDEO signal out of the device, I do see the white power light on. I tried the factory reset also, but there is no response from the device. I tried all the suggestions, is there any solution to this. My device info

- What Roku model device are you using?
- Are you being prompted with an error message?
- Is there a light showing on your device?
- How are you powering the device? Is it plugged into the TV USB port, or is it plugged into the wall outlet with the provided cables?
- Have you tried using another HDMI port on your TV as well as trying your device on another TV to see if you are seeing the same issue?

Hi,
The Roku box I am using is the small white box with control no there is no message its just a blank TV screen it comes up with the hdmi you are on but that is all it it is plugged in to a hdmi port in the back of the TV and has a plug as well I have tried a different hdmi port I only have one TV so unable to try it on another

Good afternoon again sadly I bought a Roku Express. Sadly it was literally dead on arrival and it was sooo frustrating troubleshooting I put it aside and forgot to reach out for a replacement was hoping Roku would make this right but I was wrong my family and I just can’t ever suggest Roku to anyone that asks or is in the market it’s very clear by looking at all the folks online when we google about factory recall that ran into same exact issue, it simply doesn't power on, no power light obviously tried reset button new power cord just a dead unit here very alarming that Roku sold me this directly from their own website shocking any other company would make this right
