Insufficient Power - not a power outlet problem
First - I have read and tried every post on this topic. Including Danny’s.
Every couple of months my playback stops, and I get the insufficient power error. sometimes it helps when I switch the hdmi input to another port, but not always, and not permanently. I have moved the power adapter from a power strip to the wall. I have refreshed.
still get the error. Please don’t tell me to “use a wall adapter because the tv usb port doesn’t provide enough power.”

Re: Insufficient Power - not a power outlet problem
I won't tell you to use a power adapter, but I will suggest using a "different" power adapter to rule out a bad/underpowered/weak adapter. Verify the power adapter is 5volts, and at least 1 amp.
I would also use another USB power cable (micro USB end on device side) to rule out damaged cable.
You didn't mention device model number, so assuming you are using the 2-piece supply with your device.
Just another Roku user... I am not a Roku employee.
