Audio In/out/Soundbar issues

I just installed my Roku express 4K+ and I am having issues with the audio. I lose every third word in the audio. This happens on every channel. I have already checked for a system update. I do have a sound bar. Is there a solution to this or do I need to return?

If I had this problem, first thing I'd do would be to restart the Roku. Depending on your Roku model and Roku version number you'll find the System restart option under either Settings > System or Settings > System > Power

If that didn't get it I'd play around with the options under Settings > Audio > Streaming audio format. There may be some incompatibility between what your Roku is sending to the tv, what the tv will pass on to the sound bar, and what the sound bar can process.

If that still didn't get it, I'd drop the sound bar out of the system, at least tempoarily, and experiment with the Streaming audio format options again.
