Two tv's, replaced one. Free trial won't work on other.

I have two tvs, and two Roku devices.  I replaced one with a newer model, and was offered free trial offers.  Both only seem to work on the newer model, but the main model wants me to sign up again.  Is this how it works?

Did you link the new and old devices to the same Roku account?  Check the email address that's displayed on each one under Settings->System->About.
