Start up seems to be stuck loading the software

I have a new roku express and make it to the wireless connection and get all green checks.   Then screen goes blank.   After a few minutes the roku letters appear and bounce.   Then disappeared.  Keeps repeating this

If you got a USB power adapter with it use it and not the TV's USB port.
