Roku steaming stick 4k and syncing with iPad Pro

I bought a Roku streaming stick 4k. I’m trying to get this to play wirelessly on my iPad Pro. Any tips? All my iPad screen shows is the Roku remote screen.

@Jrok59

Thanks for the post.

Can you please clarify what you are trying to do? Are you trying to use the iPad to stream with the Roku device or are you trying to mirror/cast what is on the iPad to the Roku device?

With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Danny

Current Rokus only output video through their HDMI connections.  The have no provisions for outputting in any other manner.

You can view Roku's own The Roku Channel via the Roku remote app (iOS and Android), but not content viewed on other channels, nor as far as I know can you view paid subscriptions that you view via The Roku Channel remotely.

On the other hand,  there are some streaming sources which have their own iOS apps you can install and use directly.
