Thank you. I just setup Streaming Stick 4K and called Roku support, who advised, choose a TV brand I DON'T have, then in response to "do you hear music playing?" answer NO. Then you get either a Do Later or Cancel button (didn't take pic of tv screen). That did the trick.
HOWEVER for any Roku employee paying attention, this is a terrific example of a **bleep** user experience, in contrast to a generally smooth setup. This "control my TV" is 100% unnecessary in order to use your product. May I suggest (see screenshot) adding a four-letter-word to this list of choices:
