roku performance

Jump to solution

I currently have an basic older model roku - the 2500x. I notice that it still works but runs very slow. Is this because it is such an older version or because of my internet connection? I am looking to get a new roku with the hope I can add apps to my TV as well as possibly You Tube TV. Will the 3800 or 3810 model get me where I want to be?

@krth101

Thanks for the post.

Indeed the Roku HD is a much older device that is no longer supported. Any of the newer Roku devices, including the Streaming Sticks, will do what you are looking for.
