Wordpress Feed

I was wondering if anyone had an idea how to modify the feed from Wordpress to work with Roku?
I am able to convert the rss to json, however it obviously needs more data to comply.
MRSS is also ok apparently, but again same issue.

Any ideas welcomed.

Re: Wordpress Feed

Bump.

I'm also looking into this possibility.

Anyone have any luck?

Re: Wordpress Feed

I tried a bunch of wrapper options like feedburner and the like - none seemed to do it. I did manage to find a way to get more date into the feed by using short description in posts and making each video a post. But no.

I ran out of time - so I just do it manually in a text file.rss - which isn't ideal at all.
Please post any clues - we can all work together to figure it out!

Re: Wordpress Feed

yeah i did a bunch of research today. there are a few wordpress plugins that do a half job...but none of it really seems like a real solution, or at least not an efficient one.

i'm gonna work with manually generated rss feeds like with the legacy SDK.

Re: Wordpress Feed

Associate of mine did this for MRSS:  https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smart-tv/

Hope this helps.
