Roku Direct Publisher

Question:  Is a private channel simply an unpublished channel?  Is it OK to distribute the Link for my unpublished channel to others who want to view it?

Or do I go ahead and hit Publish and public / private is determined after the fact?

An unpublished channel simply means not listed in the store...

I didn't encounter any limitations when I advertised my channel before it was "published".
However I have no idea how ads work on a published or unpublished channel, as all my channels that are published have been serving ads, but Roku has no way of telling us how much if any revenue is being generated.
