MPEG2 Playback Bug on 2019 Ultra

When playing HD MPEG2 files on Roku Media player on my Ultra the files constantly pixelate and drop out... my Roku 2 with the 9.3 update plays the same files with no issues.

My Ultra is still running 9.2... will this issue be resolved on my Ultra with the 9.3 update?  When will my Ultra receive this update?

Can't answer that.  When you get it, you'll find out.

It will, but nobody knows when.  It's rolling out individual device by individual device and as far as I know nobody has determined what controls which device gets it when.

Re: MPEG2 Playback Bug on 2019 Ultra

If you have frame rate matching enabled, try turning it off. For me it's always messed up MPEG-2 playback. Works fine with H.264/265 or MP4.

I haven't tested frame rate matching with the released version of 9.3, but it was still a problem with earlier beta versions.
