For now, the best wysiwyg solution is the .ppt slide deck in the SDK. You can use this as mockup tool to get buy-in on your projects with appropriate stakeholders.
I too am interested in seeing an IDE for the SDK, especially one with a preview, this way coders can test their channels before uploading it to their device. Realistically speaking, though, I wouldn't expect it to be a free product.
