Thanks for the link. I knew gigabits and terabits but yottabits? I suppose a yottabit squared would be a yotta-yotta-yottabit.

Yottabyte came to prominence recently because of NSA. "Your friendly neighborhood agency to rely on lending an ear " (tm)

kilo = kibi * 1024/1000
byte = bit /8
hence kilobytes_per_sec = kibits_per_sec * 0.128
