how to using peer2peer technique when developing a channel?

According to the development reference, the contents should be hosted on CDN or something like that.

My question is : Because the CDN is expensive, is there any way to use p2p technique to save traffic and bandwidth in roku development?

If not, since the componets has roDataGramSocket and roStreamSocket exposed, will developing p2p with it be permitted or forbidden?

Hi @crushor,

Videos may be hosted on your website, a CDN, or an OVP. Using P2P is not supported nor permitted.

The original content would be hosted on CDN certainly, but why using p2p is fordiden in subsequent transfers? For purpose of copyright, it would be restricted to valid subscribers which would pay for the content, and the channel provider should be responsible for it.
