I really wanna create a channel with video from this site: globaltv.com (for personal use of course) but, i wouldn't know where to begin, I got the sdk and read the dev guide. Any suggestions?

Look through the examples. Start with one of them and you may be able to modify one to do what you want.

From a quick glance at the site, I don't see any immediately clear indication of the streaming technology they're using, but it doesn't look like they offer any iOS apps, which are what usually suggest h264/roku-compatible streams.
