Hm, this remained unanswered as a drive-by question, so i guess i'll have to start new topic on it:

So there is an undocumented component roContentMetadata that gets returned by roTuner/roProgramGuide at least - but can also be hand-made:

BrightScript Debugger> ? createObject("roContentMetadata")
<Component: roContentMetadata>

roContentMetadata is not a generally supported component, and is expected to be removed in future releases.
