Hi all. We are in the final decision process in determining our DRM solution for Roku. As we understand it.... all current devices only support WMDRM10 and all new devices are going to support PlayReady. We currently have a PlayReady license and servers in place to support our mobile applications. Can anyone tell me if there is anyway to avoid setting up a WMDRM10 configuration, as well.
We are a big company and require a robust solution for DRM so currently the HLS Player/protection is not an option for us. We also need to have our videos viewable on all Roku devices. Lastly, for devices that can support it we will be offering HD 1080p 5.1 surround content. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
