The purchase-from-within-app process

As I understand it, if I want to have a free and a paid version, and send the user to the paid version of a channel, I need to get some kind of app id, then launch the channel store with that ID. The question is how do we get the ID and test that it is all working before submitting the apps?

I asked the same question here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=38977&p=257260#p257260
The app ID is assigned when you create the channel. You can do a /query/apps to get it once installed, or you can get it from the URL of the channel on the developer site (ex. https://owner.roku.com/Developer/Apps/Details/1234).
