Stream from local server
Hi Guys,
I'm new to the Roku platform and already testing versatility... I've been searching, and it seems that it should be possible for the Roku to stream from a QuickTime server on my LAN. We're trying to feed a live stream from one of our buildings to another. I could always stream to Livecast, etc. and pull it back down, but that seems like a lot of network overhead just to reach the next building. I played around with Sunimi without much success. RTSP streams that were available to other clients weren't recognized. Anyone have any insights they'd mind sharing?
Thanks,
Will

Re: Stream from local server
Http Live Streaming (HLS) is the only streaming format supported for live video. I don't know if QuickTime server has an HLS option, but RTSP is not supported
