Some Channels not updated to last published version

Jump to solution

Since our last update, dated February 8, 2021, for two of our channels we face the problem that none of our clients get the update. Many days have past, many 'check for update', the old version is still showing.
In the portal the new version and the last update date are showing.
We have tried again all the following: a) uploading a new package (only manifest change), b) setting a higher version in the portal during package upload, c) setting higher version of minimum firmware (we set that to v8.2 b1), without any luck. We check with clients with v9.4.0.
What may be the problem? Is there something wrong with the Roku portal this last week or are we doing something wrong? Where can we find information on what may be happening?
Thank you

We were told by Roku (Jen) that the last versions of our channels were published at Min FW v9.0 b2, and that we should upload our channel packages again specifying Min FW v9.0 b2. We did that and it worked on the spot. Problem solved for all three channels.

Thank you. We already did that, without success up to now..

thank you, but it's not a device cache issue, we have already tested this with devices that never had the channel before..
