So according to
this,
roRegistrySection can only be used in a Task node. I know previously (at least previous to v8.1) doing something like:
sect = CreateObject("roRegistrySection", "section")from the init function of a scene would return
invalid. I just tried it on v8.1.0 build 4131 and it seems to work just fine. Has something changed? Is there a release note somewhere that I missed? Was I just lucky or is the documentation incorrect? Does the list of functions only supported within a Task node need to be updated?
