It doesn't cost anything to create or publish a Roku channel/app.

Actually, there could be unplanned costs.  Especially, if content for Direct Publisher feed files is stored on a CDN.

FREE Windows desktop software for converting Direct Publisher channels to SceneGraph (SDK), for creating BIF (Trick Play) files, Roku (MRSS, JSON) feed files, and FireTV feed files @ GitHub/rrirower.

Thank both so much, yes using complementary “hosting” services has their own costs. Go got confused when in read somewhere something about a 1500 usd fee and that the account ask me automatically for a credit card to finish the channel creation process.

thanks for the clarification.  @renojim @Baradanikto

@AdrianaT, I'm guessing that's a third party site not affiliated with Roku in any way.
