Roku Telnet Port 8080

Hello everyone,

I'm a Roku newbie. I was telnet to port 8080 and try some commands. But all of them return "Command not recognized". Did I do something wrong? Maybe my dev box is corrupt? :cry:
Can some Roku experts here help me?

Might help if you shared what commands you tried. There are only a handful supported, the main one being "genkey".

Oh I was trying "generatekey" and keep getting "Command not recognized". Is there a place where I can find all the supported commands?

Hi,

The correct command is "genkey" (no quotes) not "generatekey"
