Right version of eclipse for Brightscript?

Hi, friends, I'm new to BrightScript. so I found eclipse is the recommended IDE for BrightScript development. But unfortunately, I cannot make zip and showing an error "Eclipse Brightscript Deployment error" . From this discussion, I found that Eclipse 4.5.2 is good . But again it is not working for me.

Details of java

openjdk version "1.8.0_91"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_91-8u91-b14-0ubuntu4~16.04.1-b14)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.91-b14, mixed mode)

So can you please suggest me, which is the right Eclipse version. Now i have different versions of eclipse from Kepler to Neon. Also, how can I compile BrightScript by using the terminal? Can I use the terminal by connecting telnet?

Thank you.

Re: Right version of eclipse for Brightscript?

Finally , I have found the solution.
The new plugin required Eclipse 4.5 (Mars) as a minimum, DLTK 5, and Java 8.

Download Eclipse Mars (4.5). And from the documentation. They are saying

If you are trying to run on eclipse 3.7 Indigo or later, you will have to add a couple of other update sites to get the DLTK 2.0 dependencies automatically resolved. These update sites are:http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/updates/releases/ and http://download.eclipse.org/technology/dltk/updates/

But for the new version of brightscript we need DLTK 5. Not just DLTK 2.0. if you follow
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/dltk/updates/
,You will get only DLTK 2.0.But we need minimum DLTK 5. so go to http://www.eclipse.org/dltk/. Select DLTK above 5 and use the URL in eclipse . Install it and try.
