Recovering source code from package file
Greetings,
I'm working with a new client that has lost their source code files. All they have is the package file and the Roku device the package was developed with. Is there a way to recover the source code from the package?
Cheers

Re: Recovering source code from package file
That's the good one! Maybe Roku can reverse-engineer the pkg file, otherwise you're out of luck for not following any business standard backup option. We keep copies in three locations, of all revisions of code and packages as well as full mirrors of content with SVN and Git with realtime mirrored/sync copies. So such an issue would never affect us.

unfortunately, if you don't have the source code you will have to start over from scratch with the channel.

Thanks Joel. I've advised my client accordingly.
