I wanted to obtain a bit of information if anyone can kindly help.
I import and distribute satellite tv equipment. Due to trees and tall buildings, many of our customers can not get satellite TV installed.
I'd like to be able to offer my customers a Roku and give them access to be able to watch the programming on their TV that airs via satellite. Since I do not know anything about it, I figured I'd ask here. Are there companies out there that develop such software or apps? Where can I get information on that?
I understand that there is a software and hardware portion to this project. In regards to the software, I guess I can have someone or a company develop that for me, but in regards to the hardware to stream it to the internet, I do not know what I would need to use.
This will be a subscription based system. So I need the ability to activate or deactivate a Roku box for my service.
