We created a private channel but we made the channel name what we want to use for the Public channel. Now when we try to create the Public channel it won't let us create it because it already exists as a Private channel. Renaming the Private channel does not seem to work.
Is there a way to make a Private channel Public?
If not, can we delete the Private channel and will the name become available for the Public channel?
You can delete the private channel and resubmit it as a public channel. In this case, however, the channel will need to go through Roku QA before it is published. Deleting the private channel will free up the channel name for use in your public channel.
