MPEG-DASH

According to the documentation the Roku box will accept MPEG-DASH for video streaming.

But MPEG-DASH can have two containers:
1) ISO base media file format (e.g. MP4 file format)
2) MPEG-2 Transport Stream.

Will the Roku work with either DASH container?
