I'am developing a roku channel with videoplayer example. VoD mp4 videos are working perfectly but I need to add a live stream.
I am trying to use VLC on the server to stream a playlist.
Please I need some help with an example of how can I add a live stream on my channel. Is VLC the right media server to stream a playlist to roku?

I was just reading an article (here: https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/how-to-build-a-live-streaming-app/) where it says that to make a live streaming app you have to choose a CDN, find a reliable hosting, develop an attractive design alongside with basic live streaming features, and test your app at the final stage.
