Is AV1 codec with DASH supported on Streaming Stick 4K?

I see the Roku Streaming Stick 4K and a few other newer models have the Realtek 131x SoC that is capable of AV1 decoding, but the streaming documentation makes no mention of AV1 support. Is it supported in any way now? Is it coming? 

I'm testing with AV1/AAC dash streams that work elsewhere, but am getting malformed data errors on Roku Streaming Stick 4K.

Nice Roku! Here we are two moths later and still no answer. I would bet NO then. I think the Ultra 4800R is the only one.
