Images getting cached

Hi...We are developing on roku....we changed images but the page is displaying the previous images we tried:
1.Reset the roku device
2.loading other channels.
3.changing the version in manifest.mf
But no luck...can someone please help me in this regard

we are not using url's for the images we are referring to the images placed in our applications images folder will unique identifier like randomnumber will help us?

No. Images local to the package don't get cached, at least not across channel sessions, and definitely not across reboots. It's more likely that your package doesn't contain the new graphics. Have you verified that the zip file is updated?

Thanks a lot for the clarification.

But i am not understanding why the old images are getting displayed instead of the modified one's.
other problem is while some images are getting displayed,some images are nor getting displayed. will size and format of the image matters for this problem.


Please clarify on this.

Date issue-please help me out

i am a new roku developer...i am trying to display the current date on TV ..but it displays date of 29th december 2013..please help me in displaying the correct date ????
