Hi, I have seen channels have links to other channels in the Roku store. Some channels get you to press enter while the ad for the channel is playing. Others will have a poster item that will take them to that channel in the store or to the channel if it is installed.

Does anyone know how this is done?

I cant seem to find it is the SDK docs. Not sure if it is an in-channel product. Or a "hello world" type method.

See "install" under External Control Guide > External Control Protocol Services

"Install" is a misnomer, a bad choice of word from what i can tell ("channel" would have been a better one). What it does is open channel info screen for a given channel number. And if the user chooses to install it from there, it may launch it too.
