ECP documentation errata

query/apps is missing from the document.  There was discussion on here about it being fixed from keyword app to apps but it is now totally missing

PowerOff is listed but PowerOn and Power (toggle) are missing

key Search says “Search is useful for short-cutting directly to search screens” but it seems to not have any functionality like that.  If you keypress/Search it acts just like you hit the remote mic button (tells you to hold key down) and if you keydown/Search it then says it can’t get input from the remote (understandable but if so then what is its use?)

Re: ECP documentation errata

Hi @dathead2

Thanks for your observations.

The apps/query command is intentionally not included in the ECP documentation.

The document will be updated in the near future with the correct functionality provided by the keypress/Search command.

We'll double-check on whether we want to add the Power toggle and Power On commands to the doc.

Re: ECP documentation errata

Thanx for reply!!  If query/apps is not included in docs then launch/appid documentation is of little value since there is no way to expose appids (unless you know of the now hidden query/apps call). Or am I missing something?

Re: ECP documentation errata

Also of note is that since there is no key Pause, the Play button acts as a play/pause toggle.  This obviously seems intuitive to most but again should be mentioned in the doc (the word pause appears nowhere in the entire documentation)
