This probably seems like a stupid question but do I need to physically own a Roku box to publish a developer channel? I have all my episodes and cannot understand how I go from setting up my channel with info and graphics to getting it to publish episodes.
I'm usually pretty good at this stuff, but i'm totally lost here.
Yes,you need a Roku player for testing and packaging your channel. And to be clear, Roku doesn't host or distribute any content, so you'll need an OVP or some sort of CMS and server to actually distribute your content. More details at roku.com/developer
