I doubt it RokuCo will yank already installed channels - at least i don't remember a precedent, just like Apple won't forcefully remove apps from your iPhone/iPad. It's politically incorrect thing to do.
Your recourse is to develop a new version and plead to the staff for expedient publishing (e.g. make a good case why/how it is broken).
