Roku Developer Program

I need some kind souls to try the mac server. It is almost at the same functionality as the windows version.

The setup is just like windows, unzip it, execute it and click start.
It will create "My Roku" under your userid.

Go to - http://www.chaneru.com/Mac/Chaneru/ - download your flavor.
Chaneru-i386.zip
Chaneru-ppc.zip
Chaneru-x86_64.zip

Be aware this is the first trial !

You can either shut it down or use another port address.

I just downloaded all three on my mac. The mac automatically unzipped them. I doubled clicked on the app and they loaded. ???????

I need to install the SDK for 10.4 and try it.

I had to rebuild xcode to get the 10.4 SDK
Uploaded a new subset for 10.4

http://www.chaneru.com/Mac/Chaneru/ Now has 10.6, 10.5 and 10.4
Hope one of them works !

Downloaded and unzipped the 10.4 i386 release, double clicked on the file and got "you cannot use the application Chaneru with this version of Mac OS X. Are you sure you put the right binary in the folder? If so, then perhaps there is some little bit of info that needs to be set in the header to say it is a 10.4 file?

You are correct, I took a look at the info.plist for all the 10.4 zips and they said minimum 10.5
I went back and set the build for 10.4 and things fell apart. It said gcc 4.2 wasn't compatible.
So I went back in and changed it to 4.0 and now it won't build because of the GUI objects requiring 10.5
So for now I guess 10.4 is dead ! Unless someone can point me in another direction to get the right level.

Upload another update. According to one user the ppc version now works correctly.
