If you want each remote to have TV controls, then the Voice Remote models will work.
You can view each model of the Voice Remote on Roku's website Roku Accessories but you can also find them at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc.
The $20 Voice Remote requires batteries, while the $30 Voice Remote Pro (V1 and V2) are rechargeable.
Multiple Voice Remotes can be paired to the same Roku device so both you and your wife can control the device and TV.
However, you may be the first husband to voluntarily and willingly provide a separate remote for the wife ever.

If you don't mind the use of a mobile app on your phone, Roku also offers an official free Remote app that allows control of Roku devices. (won't control the TV unless a RokuTV, but does control the Roku device). Just make sure you install the official one and not a third party one.
