Roku remote and Bose soundbar

Will the roku streaming stick remote control the bose soundbar if the soundbar is connected to the HDMI ARC connection on a Samsung TV?

    The Bose soundbar is connected to hdmi-arc, not the Roku. In addition to hdmi-arc, make sure the tv recognizes the soundbar as a cec device. See the Roku remote only controls the tv volume, it's the tv via cec that controls the soundbar.

    You have the Roku Streaming Stick 4K correct? If it’s connected through ARC it should work just fine.

        Keep in mind it will only control the volume. Other functions such as surround sound, EQ settings and more you will need to use the Bose remote.
