I am also having this problem. My remote is making a high pitched noise and no longer works, like many others have mentioned. What is the actual solution to this, besides throwing it away?

Of, course, I had to use the Roku app to find this information, since the regular remote doesn’t work :) but I just sent it to you in reply to your email.
