I just wanted to put this out there in case it is not a one-time thing. Recently, our almost-new roku remote (the one that is IR only, no BT linking) stopped working. Luckily, this guy has a scope and I narrowed it down to the IR emitter. Those don't normally go bad, so just in case there was a bad production run, check yours with a digital camera. If there is no blinking visible on camera when a button is pressed (and you know the batteries are good), find that old Xfinity remote they wanted back 5 years ago and borrow the IR LED from it. I had to make some "modifications" so the larger xfinity one would fit in the roku remote but just about any tv remote IR LED should do.
