Line of sight with Roku Ultra

Jump to solution

Does the Roku Ultra have to be in the line of site of the remote. I have a Control 4 setup in my bedroom and what to add the Roku so we can watch Netflix & Amazon Prime. I know that I will have to manually switch outputs, but my equipment is behind the wall in a closet. I can attach the Roku to the wall mount of my 55" TV. I'm ok with having to get up and walk 6 feet and point it behind the TV, Does anyone have another idea that will work?

The Ultra comes with a wifi-direct modem so line of sight is not necessary.

Just to clarify, all the devices you listed in your reply use the Internet to connect, so line of sight is not necessary?

Thank you,
