Today, I was streaming a series on Philo via my Roku stick 3600.Suddenly, the image froze. Then the Roku turned off.
Now the light is not on anymore. I tried to plug it via USB, wall. Tried different cable. Still no light.Does it mean the stick is "dead"?Any chance to get it replaced by Roku as it looks like an anormal technical issue?FYI, I purchased the Roku stick in 2017 on BestBuy.com.Thanks in advance for any help / advice!
Getting NO light whatsoever?
I doubt a factory reset will help. Even though you can try it.
It is Three years old. They aint gonna exchange it Im sure.
But new Roku's are very affordable I think.
After a few hours of leaving the stick unplugged, the light is now back but it is very weak. Not the normal intensity. The TV still mentions "no signal" and the hard reset does not have any effect.
It is a bit sad to realize that a Roku stick just naturally dies after 3 years of normal usage
its the power supply.
Probably a bad connection at the stick.
Try a different cord.
Otherwise put a plant in it and stick it in your window.
Tried different cords. Same sad result!
Thanks for your time and advice.I will contact Roku.
Was it powered when you did the reset? It has to be, and press the reset button for over 30 seconds or more.
