Roku says max download speed is 33 Mbps when my actual internet connection is 300Mbps

My internet upload and download speeds are both 300 Mbps, and I've tested it. I can't account for any wifi interference. But in the Settings, the Roku lists the mx download speed as 33Mbps. Could this account for some buffering issues I've been having? Is there a way to make the Roku recognize my actual internet speed?

Normal streaming tops out around 16-20M for 4K. The Roku speed test doesn't really bother showing speeds much higher than that.
