Re: Roku setup on factory reset won't get passed entering QRcode or email.
I'm having the same issue! I think they pulled a planned obsolescence on us 😠

Re: Roku tv won’t send an activation code to email
It's not a problem with wifi or email. The problem is on Roku's end. The QR code won't generate, and no email is being sent. A message pops ups within seconds saying, "Please try again. We can't seem to reach you at blank."
Note: Don'y factory reset. It DOES NOT fix the issue

Re: Roku tv won’t send an activation code to email
Hot spot and different network did not fix the issue. My email is fine. I receive other messages from Roku, but not the activation message. QR code simply doesn't appear.

Roku Apps No Longer Streaming
Hello,
I've been using Roku Express 3900R for a few years and suddenly I'm unable to stream any content from any of the apps. When I start apps such as Prime (error code 0,60)or Britbox (general error message no code). I've unplugged my modem and router for a minute and plugged them back in, internet works fine on other devices, I've done a system restart on Roku, I've checked for roku software updates, I've done a roku network connection reset. I've unplugged roku. None of these steps have fixed the problem. Any help you can offer to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Roku cannot open Youtube App
I JUST DID ALL THESE STEPS AND NOTHING WORKED SO FAR.
1. Restart Roku
- Go to Settings > System > System restart and restart your Roku.
- Alternatively, unplug it from the power source, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in.
2. Check for Updates
- Go to Settings > System > System update > Check now and update your Roku if needed.
- Also, highlight the YouTube app, press the * button on your remote, and check for updates.
3. Remove and Reinstall YouTube
- Highlight YouTube on the home screen.
- Press the * button on your remote and select Remove channel.
- Restart your Roku after removing it.
- Reinstall YouTube by going to Streaming Channels > Search Channels > YouTube and adding it again.
4. Check Internet Connection
- Go to Settings > Network > Check connection to ensure Roku has a stable internet connection.

Agreed, I'm having the same issue and I have a 4k streaming stick as well.

Re: Roku tv won’t send an activation code to email
Actually changing from my home network to my mobile phone hotspot was the only thing that worked! Mine is back to normal now, but I cannot help thinking the reason it only worked on my phone hotspot was somehow to gather my personal data!

Re: Roku tv won’t send an activation code to email
I am using the same email as my account, and is typed correctly. My wifi signal is excellent. My other wifi router also has an excellent signal, but won't work. My hotspot does not work either. I regret trying a factory reset.
